Taking its its title from Percy Bysshe Shelley's poem "To a Skylark" ("Hail
to thee, blithe Spirit! / Bird thou never wert"), this comedy has had
audiences smiling since its debut in 1941. An eccentric medium, a
seance gone awry, and ghosts seen and unseen unleash unexpected comedic
situations into the life of a successful novelist. |
